The challenge for this design was creating something for a young family needing space for the kids to be kids as well as spaces to entertain, in a location that is both suburban and a semi-bush setting. The outcome is a bush front garden with and ephemeral pond to manage runoff, and a semi-formal back yard, using large curved steel and thick planting to divide whilst maintaining more formal settings with decking, lawn and paved areas linked with a grave/sleeper path. This garden still has places for the kids to run and hide in a smaller back yard, with a variety of feature planting to maintain an aesthetic year-round
